It would be awesome if the first person in any of the 5 conferences could have hosting privelages. For example, being able to lock a conference the way the cl's or admins do, in case people wanted to have a private conversation, or lock out annoying or harassing people. I find annoying people seem to follow you, even if you exit and go to a different conference room, and locking or even being able to kick someone out if you're a conference room host would be sweet!
Just a thought.

Yeah, I think it's a good idea as well. I mean, what if two or three or so people wanted to have a private convosation, and don't want everyone to come in in the middle of it?
Oh I forgot to mention, that I've had people follow me frome one confrence room to another. I moved to talk to someone else, but got followed their, so I couldn't do that.
I would like to see different conference rooms, like 11 through 20 being user hostable conference rooms. the first one in becomes host, this host will be able to allow some users on, lock or change the way a conference is run. for example, allow all to speak, allow the host to speak, or enable an option for one at a time to speak. this host could also enable a code for the conference so that the lock could be on, off, or password protected. give the conference a time durationof, five hours or so. and enable host a conference a feature of premium. try that out for a while and it could be expanded from there.
We were talking about something similar to this a day or two ago in one of the conferences. As you've probably seen from the news file, I've made it so that premium users can create private conferences with 4-digit codes. Any user who knows the code of an existing conference can join. The code of a conference is removed when the last person leaves the conference. We'll see if this is helpful or if it simply causes more drama. If it does, the feature will be removed and we'll stick with the existing public conferences.
It's also worth noting that we don't monitor what goes on in conferences, and won't rush in to deal with allegations of inappropriate conference behavior. Please react accordingly.
I will say that it was a good idea Cam
well I thought it was, but all I'll say is, I've got clout! jk. nah chris takes all the credit for creating private conferences, which I suppose in hindsight, is better than being able to lock the public ones.
well put Cam!
